This Privacy Policy explains how IM Inspiration ("IMI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information when you use our website, app, training services, contact forms, newsletter features, and related services.

We wrote this Privacy Policy to explain what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights and choices may be available to you under applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.

For purposes of applicable data protection law, IM Inspiration acts as the controller of personal information described in this Privacy Policy unless stated otherwise.

Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through the IM Inspiration website, the IMI app, our training plans and coaching-related services, contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, and other interactions you have with us.

This Privacy Policy covers information related to your use of IMI as a training and coaching platform, including account information, training-related information, communications, and technical usage data. Some information may be required for account creation or service delivery, while other information may be optional and may be added, updated, or removed later where that functionality is available.

This Privacy Policy is intended to describe our data practices in a practical and transparent way. It does not create any contractual promise beyond what is required under applicable law.

This Privacy Policy does not describe the full terms that apply to purchases, access periods, plan pauses, reactivation rules, refunds, or other service terms. Those matters are covered separately in our Terms of Service.

We may collect information you provide when you contact us, create an account, fill out forms, sign up for a newsletter, purchase a plan, communicate with us, respond to questionnaires, or otherwise submit information through our website, app, or services.

This information may include your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, login details, and any other information you choose to provide.

Account and profile information

We may collect account registration details, profile information, preferences, and service-related settings associated with your use of IMI.

Depending on the services you use, this may include account credentials, basic identification details, athlete profile information, onboarding responses, selected plan information, and other profile data you choose to add, review, update, correct, or remove where that functionality is available.

Training and athlete-related information

We may collect training-related and athlete-related information that is relevant to delivering, supporting, improving, or personalizing IMI and coach-led training services.

This may include workout history, training schedules, notes, coach and athlete communications, training feedback, self-reported wellbeing, fatigue signals, injuries, goals, race plans, race results, session ratings, progress history, and related performance context. Depending on the context and applicable law, some of this information may be considered sensitive personal information or subject to heightened legal protections.

Some of this information may be provided directly by you, entered by a coach, generated through your use of the service, or received from a connected device or third-party platform that you choose to use with IMI. Certain information may also be updated, corrected, or removed later by you or through our support channels, depending on the type of information and the functionality available.

Device, app, and usage information

We may automatically collect certain technical information about the devices and services you use to access IMI.

This may include device type, operating system, browser type, app version, IP address, general location derived from IP address, identifiers, log data, crash data, usage patterns, pages or screens viewed, interactions with features, referral information, and similar technical or diagnostic information.

Payment-related information

If you purchase a plan or make a payment through IMI, we may collect payment-related information necessary to process the transaction, maintain records, prevent fraud, respond to billing issues, and support customer service.

This may include your name, billing-related identifiers, transaction details, payment status, payment method type, and limited information provided to us by payment processors.

Payment card details are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe and PayU and are not stored directly by IMI except to the extent necessary to receive transaction confirmations, payment status information, or limited billing-related records.

Communications and contact form submissions

We may collect information you provide when you contact us by email, through contact forms, through support requests, through in-app communications, or through other channels.

This may include the content of your message, attachments, contact details, the reason for your request, and records of our communications with you.

Newsletter and marketing preferences

If you subscribe to a newsletter or choose to receive updates from us, we may collect your contact details, communication preferences, consent choices where required, and information about whether messages were opened, clicked, delivered, or unsubscribed from, where such functionality is used.

  • provide, operate, maintain, personalize, and improve IMI and related services;
  • create and manage accounts and user profiles;

  • deliver training plans, coach-led support, app functionality, AI-supported service features within IMI, and related service features;
  • process purchases, confirm transactions, maintain billing records, and respond to billing issues;
  • communicate with you about your account, plan, service updates, support matters, or other operational issues;
  • send newsletters, updates, promotions, or other communications where permitted by law or based on your choices;
  • monitor usage, troubleshoot problems, protect service integrity, detect errors, investigate misuse, and maintain security;
  • analyze trends, usage patterns, and service performance;
  • support internal reporting, service development, quality control, and business operations;
  • comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, resolve disputes, and protect our rights, users, coaches, partners, and business.

We may also use information in aggregated, anonymized, de-identified, or otherwise non-personal form where permitted by law. Where applicable law treats certain de-identified or similar information as personal information, we will handle it accordingly.

  • analytics, communications, hosting, infrastructure, security, or similar providers that support our systems and operations;
  • legal, regulatory, compliance, law enforcement, or other third parties where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law, legal process, or legitimate business protection needs;

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services, maintain accounts, support coaching and operational functions, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our business.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the nature of the relationship, the services provided, applicable legal requirements, the sensitivity of the information, and whether the information is needed for legitimate operational or legal purposes.

When we no longer need personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, we may delete it, anonymize it, de-identify it, aggregate it, or retain it only as permitted or required by applicable law. We may also retain backup copies, archived materials, system logs, and residual records for a limited additional period where reasonably necessary for security, continuity, compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement, or legitimate business protection purposes.

Children’s Privacy

IMI is not directed to children under the age of 13.

If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may use IMI only where permitted by applicable law, our Terms of Service, and any consent, authorization, or supervision required in the relevant jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without legally valid authorization, we may delete that information, restrict the related account, or take other appropriate action where permitted or required by law.
